Good news on the Netflix home front! Kick Ass is now available to watch on instant. So cozy on up and enjoy! If you enjoy Chloe Moretz performance, you must check out Let Me In. This movie came out in 2010, and yes I'm just getting around to it now. It wasn't really a big block buster, but it does fair well on the horror scale. (Good horror films never do seem to bust blocks do they...) Alas, my father, the toughest movie critic of them all, gave this film an "it was okay" which says a lot for him. I really enjoyed this film, although strange at times. It is an American re-make of the Sweedish film "Let The Right One In". Matt Reeves, director of the American version (and other favorite thrillers of mine like Cloverfield) stayed true to the foreign roots of this film, creating a stunning visual effect. (Everyone knows to trust the Sweedish. They know how to do creepy.) So, if you wan't to see Chloe Moretz as a bad ass 12 year old vampire and drink some blood, check out Let Me In. (and don't forget to watch Kick Ass!)
